Mission
To educate dental practitioners with competence and knowledge to provide optimal primary dental care to the community; to provide excellence in patient care within the premises of the College of Dentistry; to provide excellence in continuing education of the practicing community; and to produce high quality research, with particular emphasis on Orthodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, and Dental Public Health.
Objectives

To produce dental practitioners with the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes (competencies) to provide optimal primary dental care within the areas of Orthodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, and Dental Public Health.

To produce dental practitioners who have the necessary familiarity with advanced issues (knowledge) within the areas of Orthodontics, Pediatric Dentistry, and Dental Public Health to allow them to recognize patients in need of specialist treatment.
